The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Renews Its Trust in ABEO, Announcing Schelde Sports as Global Official Supplier Through 2024
ABEO's brand, Schelde Sports, a specialist in team sports, has been once again designated as the official global supplier for FIBA until 2024.
This agreement between Schelde Sports and FIBA covers the supply, installation, and associated services for basketball backboards at all high-level international competitions. This renewed partnership includes key events such as the EuroBasket Championship in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, and Germany from September 1 to 18, 2022, the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 in Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines from August 25 to September 10, 2023, and the basketball events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
In addition to these competitions, Schelde Sports and FIBA will collaborate on developing innovative products, both technologically and from a marketing perspective.

26 Years of Collaboration Between Schelde Sports and FIBA
This renewal further strengthens the longstanding relationship between ABEO and FIBA, with Schelde Sports serving as a FIBA partner since 1994.
Over the years, Schelde Sports has equipped numerous major FIBA events, including the FIBA 3x3 World Tour in 2013, the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, and the 2015 FIBA EuroBasket Championship.
In 2019, Schelde Sports was the official equipment supplier for the FIBA Basketball World Cup in China. More recently, the brand provided equipment for the 2020 FIBA 3x3 World Tour, which took place from August 29 to September 4.
