Where It All Began
The French company France Equipement is the origin of the Changing Room Division... and the very foundation of the Group itself. France Equipement was established in 1955 and acquired in 1981 by Bernard Estèves. His son, Olivier Estèves, succeeded him in 1992 and founded ABEO ten years later, where he remains Chairman and CEO today.
Six Leading Brands, Balancing Tradition and Innovation
Among the most dynamic players in the European market, the companies within the Changing Room Division develop innovative and sustainable solutions for all types of sanitary space and collective locker room projects.
Balancing tradition and innovation, the six brands offer complementary expertise: UK-based Prospec provides premium glass products, specializing in glass technology since the 1970s; German company Meta is an expert in sanitary partitions manufactured in its state-of-the-art facility; in France, Navic specializes in smart lockers, leveraging new technologies for aquatic centers and ski resorts; Sanitec excels in sanitary partitioning, particularly for outdoor hospitality; France Equipement is the go-to brand for lockers and cabins in schools, sports clubs, and public spaces, supported by its premium brand Sanélite, which targets the tertiary sector.
Focus on ACMAN
The six companies within the Changing Room Division manufacture their products locally at their dedicated production facilities. ACMAN is the production site linked to France Equipement, both based in Rioz, a commune in the Franche-Comté region, where the Group's headquarters are also located.
ACMAN is a 6,000m² workshop employing over 30 skilled workers - metalworkers, welders, toolmakers, painters, and carpenters - who produce France Equipement’s products, including solid laminate or steel locker cabinets, coat racks, and sanitary cabins. ACMAN also designs stage podiums used to elevate competition platforms for gymnastics events, such as those provided for the London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. With expertise passed down for over 40 years, cutting-edge technology, and automated production lines, ACMAN delivers bespoke projects that combine precision and high quality. The site has been ISO 9001 certified since 2005.
