Climbat: The Second Edition of Climbat Kombat Takes Over Barcelona

The Open Bloc de Barcelona took place at Climbat La Foixarda in Barcelona, where nearly 400 climbers competed across 50 bouldering problems as part of the II Climbat Kombat.

Among the participants, eight climbers ranked in Spain’s top 15 joined the competition, which was broadcast live on YouTube and @ClimbatCenters social media channels.

Beyond being a showcase of elite climbing, this event was a major milestone for the entire climbing community and ecosystem in Spain. It further solidified Climbat’s position as a leading reference in indoor climbing across the Iberian Peninsula.

Climbat operates seven climbing centers for all skill levels: five in Spain and two in France—offering personalized courses, group activities, team-building sessions, birthday parties, and climbing camps. It also runs a climbing school for children, teenagers, and adults, with advanced training programs and technical workshops covering multi-pitch climbing, self-rescue, fear management, outdoor climbing, and more.
