Clip’n Climb Joins Selfridges’ Sporting Celebration
The year 2024 is undeniably the year of sports, with the UEFA European Championship, Copa América, Wimbledon finals, and, of course, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This sporting fever has even reached Selfridges, the UK’s luxury department store chain, which has transformed its London, Birmingham, and Manchester locations into sports utopias as part of its Sportopia campaign.
And who better to take on this challenge than Clip’n Climb, the ABEO Group brand specializing in fun climbing experiences. For this occasion, Clip’n Climb partnered with Los Angeles-based creative studio Play Lab Inc. to design and install two custom-built, striking climbing walls.
In London, a 12-meter-high climbing wall was created, inspired by the iconic columns that adorn the store’s façade.
Meanwhile, in Birmingham, a 10-meter-high wall was specially designed for Sportopia, featuring vibrant pink, green, orange, and blue panels and climbing holds, strategically placed in the central atrium of the store.
