Our Zero Accident Policy
ABEO's Zero Accident Policy reflects the Group's commitment to protecting its teams by ensuring a safe work environment. The prevention culture is promoted through the exchange of best practices between production sites and the continuous optimization of workstation ergonomics (reducing manual handling, smoke and dust extraction, minimizing solvent use, etc.). Outside of production sites, the companies are equally attentive to the well-being of their employees: for example, EP Climbing and Janssen-Fritsen Belgium recently moved to larger, better-insulated offices.
The Value of Our Know-How
ABEO companies are recognized for their expertise. Therefore, it is essential to ensure the recognition and transmission of know-how. This involves evaluating key individuals and competencies, as well as providing appropriate training to preserve knowledge and develop employees' skills. The Group also welcomes numerous apprentices and interns, valuable support for the teams and an integral part of this knowledge-sharing dynamic.
Our Commitment to Promoting Diversity
The Group, convinced of the importance of having a workforce that reflects society, strives to promote diversity by ensuring that there is no discrimination in its recruitment processes, performance evaluations, and training opportunities. ABEO works specifically to increase gender diversity within its teams through: recruitment officers trained on gender parity, improved job evaluations and identification of key individuals, and greater representation of women in governance bodies.
Our Contribution to the Social and Solidarity Economy
The companies have developed partnerships, particularly in Europe, with businesses in the social and solidarity economy. In France, for example, Gymnova and ACMAN regularly rely on "Entreprises Adaptées" (companies employing over 55% disabled people) for maintenance work, while France Equipement and NAVIC use temporary workers for integration. In Germany, Spieth and Meta collaborate with equivalent organizations that support people with disabilities or in social distress.
Our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Through its Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, ABEO is committed to complying with tax regulations in the countries where its companies operate. Control procedures are structured by the Group's Internal Audit team, which ensures adherence to these principles. The Ethics Committee, composed of the Deputy CEO, the Human Resources Director, and the CSR Director of ABEO, can be approached at any time in case of a proven breach.
